What to bring

A photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of your current medications and doses.

Your records

Prior PSA results, imaging, or urology notes help. If gathering them is a hassle, the office can request them for you.

Arrive easy

Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early for paperwork, or start with a telehealth visit from home instead.

Where procedures are performed

Office-based procedures are done on site. Surgical procedures are performed at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, Pavilion Surgery Center, and Surgicare of La Veta.

In the office

UroLift, Rezūm, vasectomy, and most men's health treatments are performed right in the Santa Ana office, and PAE is performed in the practice's own outpatient lab.

Outpatient centers

Many procedures are performed at Pavilion Surgery Center or Surgicare of La Veta, with same-day discharge.

The hospital

Robotic surgery and Aquablation are performed at Providence St. Joseph Hospital, where Dr. Sawkar serves as Chief of Urology.
